This is my first tattoo, any tips?

How exciting! When preparing for your tattoo, we always recommend you are showered, well rested, have something to eat before, and wear loose clothing depending on the location you want your tattoo. Bring a bottle of water and snack with you for your tattoo appointment as well. You may bring 1 person for support, but avoid bringing the whole crew or your kids. Your artist will also give you all the info you need for your aftercare as well as be checking in with you during your appointment to make sure you are comfortable.

Can I see any of your portfolio?

Yes, you can view both artists recent work on mainly instagram as well as Facebook. Click the links below to be brought to the Bowen Island Tattoo Shops page.

You can also check out Lacey’s work on her own instagram @ljtattooartist

4- Wear loose, lightweight clothing during the healing process:)

Keep out of direct sunlight, do not scratch, pick, or soak the tattoo for about two weeks until it has healed completely.

By following these instructions you should have a well healed tattoo! Though, if you require touch ups, please book in with the original artist that you worked with. First set of touch ups are included in your tattoo within the first 6 months.
